It is so true, with anything in life. I tell my kids “fake it till ya make it”. I hate my job, but, it is funny when I stopped saying that, it suddenly got better. I didn’t stop hating it, I just changed my attitude.
I like the 3 to 1 rule, I had never heard of it till now. That is certainly something I must try…I wish there was just an eraser sometimes!!
I wish there was an eraser too!! I big ol’ FAT one for those really negative days/hours/minutes/ where I swam in all that was negative! So much of life is all in the mindset… it’s amazing what happens when our perspective changes. We must be intentional with our thoughts. It’s hard but well worth the effort, as you have experienced yourself my pea!! (No one will understand that last word! LOL)
Christine,
I am a dear friend of Annmarie’s and I am sure she would tell you I am her “glass half FULL ” friend of all times. I loved your post on being positive…we all need encouragement. The blogging world is a wonderful resource for moms these days!
I am enjoying your posts…..
Pam
Oh Pam, I am SO glad you commented so I can meet you! I love “glass half FULL” friends!!! Thank you for shining some of your encouraging light on me today! I am truly grateful. 🙂
I’d hadn’t heard of the 3 to 1 rule. I like it! Heading on over to read your post….
Thanks Jennifer!! I appreciate the stop by!! 🙂
It is such a simple rule, but so helpful to many of us who get caught in the flurry of stress and chaos. Thanks for the reminder! And by the way, I appreciate the referral. Thank you!
It is simple enough… but yet it is difficult when we are in the thick of that negative pool swimming around and not coming up for some much needed positive air. (What? Not sure if that makes any sense! ) Anyhoo… you are so welcome and I will continue to pass the word on about how FABULOUS you are Julie!!! 🙂

I have never heard of this until today, but I love it. What a great concept. Imagine if everyone did this? I am sure we’d be living in a much happier world…with fewer visits to therapy! 🙂
Oh yes Erin!!! Could you imagine? You see their angry frowning faces grimace…then turn into a big bright smile instead!!! Ah, now wouldn’t that be a wonderful world! 🙂 If only.
That’s a really good point and I think I will try that! We could all use a little more positive thinking!!
Exactly Michelle! I absolutely agree! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
Now you tell me!!!!!
Hey Chris! Just finished reading your post my friend! Excellent! I WILL be putting it to practice, lol! Have a wonderful week lovely lady!

Have not heard of that rule, but I love it! Definitely need more positive!
