How To Love Your Kids…

February 11, 2014 By momcafe 5 Comments

Today I am over at Mothering From Scratch for my monthly Momtor post.  Do you say “no” to your kids?  I do.  Often.  Very very often.    I’m sure you get that!  Sometimes saying “no” is the best way to love them, although they tend to think saying “yes” is associated with your love.

Teaching kids values and principles lies in that profound word “no”.  Someday they will understand how significant this answer is.  We must teach them the difference between privilege and principle.  If we want to raise our children to become adults that hold to responsibilities and value what they have, then saying “no” is the greatest gift we can give them.  Many lessons can be learned with that ever provocative answer.  Come join me and lets discuss how we parent, shall we?

I would LOVE your input!  Meet me THERE.  (One click…that’s it!)
