Car Conversations…

September 5, 2012 By momcafe 15 Comments

If you are like me, you have those “mom moments” from time to time with hilarious car conversations with kids. Those are the times you say to yourself:

“Oh dear Lord in Heaven above, are we really talking about this?”

And the answer is:

We are going there and more.

Car Conversations with Kids

Here’s one of  my favorite car conversations with the kids…

SON:  “That boy fell off the monkey bars and hit his penis.”

ME:  “That must’ve really hurt the poor boy!!”

SON:  “ The ambulance came and drove all the way up to the playground and took him and put him on a bed.  Did his penis go into his body?”

ME:  “I don’t think it can do that.”

DAUGHTER:  “Well thank God it wasn’t a girl with a vagina.”

SON:  “But the vagina goes in already so the bar won’t cut it off.”

ME:  “Well, it can still hurt your vagina with that kind of impact.”

SON:  “But it doesn’t hang out like a penis.”

ME:  “No, you’re right it doesn’t.”

DAUGHTER:  “I’m glad I have a vagina and not a penis.”

SON:  “Well, my penis will get as big as Daddy’s and then it would really hurt.”

SON:  “Mom, how does my penis get bigger?”

ME:  “You grow and so does your penis as you grow.”

SON:  “Oh, does her vagina grow?”

ME:  “Good question honey.  It just grows inside more.”

SON:  “Oh.  I hope that boy’s penis is okay.”

ME:  “Yeah, me too.”

DAUGHTER:  “I hope I never fall and hurt my vagina.”

SON:  “I hope I never fall and hurt my penis.”

ME:  “I do too kids, I do too.”

🙂

Really enjoyed this post! Can just picture you during this conversation! Just wondering … is this post going into the kids life books? Wonder what they’ll think if this conversation in 20 or so years?! 🙂

Oh yes, saving all my blog entries for them!! I have every one copied and put in a special box for each as I go… 🙂 Now, in 20 years…will they even read them? THAT is the question!

I would have stopped or gotten in an accident, however…this I must share, in not an unusual occurance! Our family has been known to chit chat about the things most families don’t!!! 🙂

I can totally picture it!!! Those kiddos are so funny.:). A few days ago I was diving w/he kids and Katy Perry’s song came on for the 10 time that day, w/ the lyrics “I’m wide awake”. Lex and I are tired of hearing it so often so we make fun of it and sing “my stomach aches”. JT then starts singing “my penis hurts”!!!!!
