A Prayer for the Suffering

September 5, 2015 By momcafe 30 Comments

A Prayer For The Suffering…

A Prayer For The Suffering

When the world turns upside down
Twisting, turning, spinning
Falling, falling, falling…
Let me land safely in your arms.
Cradled like an infant
Bound to dependency
Of Your Promise.
Spirit feed me your Truth.

Let me fall into Thee
Pure Holiness.

A Prayer for the Suffering 3

A Prayer For The Suffering…

When the venom stings
Of a thousand needles piercing me
Penetrating deeply
Assaulting, Attacking, Avenging
Let me feel the healing wings
Of a thousand angels envelop me
Covering me with Comfort
Wrapping me with Light.

Let me fall into Thee
Pure Holiness

Prayer for the Suffering 2

A Prayer For The Suffering…

When love departs
Fleeing, Fading, Failed.
Last breaths, first steps.
Spirit hear my groans
Of emptiness
Of fear
Let me bathe in your Mercy
Where your waves wash over me
Redeeming, Restoring, Refining

Let me fall into Thee
Pure Holiness.

Prayer for the Suffering 4

A Prayer For The Suffering…

When hope dissolves
Into a million tiny pieces
Scattered like debris
Over the vast timeline of trials
Wounded, Weary, Weak
Let me surrender my will to yours
Rebuild in me, trust in your plan.
Rise in me, strength from your power.

I stretch my arms toward sanctity
Falling into Thee…

Pure Holiness.

When I come to the end of me… I simply MUST land in Him. I can’t imagine otherwise… And oh, how grateful I am to fall into Thee!

Yes! And we always know someone who is struggling, if not us at the moment. He is faithful to hold us.

YES. Oh yes oh yes oh yes… I wrote this for so many. And for me.

I find so much comfort knowing that at the end of me- I can safely fall into Thee. Over and over again…

      I pray others do too.

Stunning, deep, simple prayers for all. I think of the refugees this morning, sending your prayers to all..
and for my best friend whose husband’s MS is progressing, and my sister with a troubled son. My God bless us with the grace you share in these blessings! Have a Blessed weekend!

      Thank you Kathy…

When we come to the end of ourselves… there is no greater comfort than to fall into Thee. Thank God we have a Sovereign place to fall.

Hi Chris! If ever there were a time for prayer, and for faith it’s now. There’s so much disaster and inhumanity happening in Europe, it can get so hopeless… I just don’t know what will change things. Lord, help me to rely on you, and to urge my sisters and brothers to never forget the people who are suffering.
Bless you for your faithful heart,
    Ceil

SO much suffering… yes oh yes.

And I know so many hearts that are represented in these prayers…

I find such comfort in knowing that we can literally fall into Him… I do regularly. I pray others land safely in His Sovereign arms too.

I love you for reading it three times… I love you for really truly taking that time and heart to be ‘in this’ with my words, my prayers.

Troubled world indeed. SO much everywhere.

Yes… that and also suicide prevention week… oh there is so much pain out there. I also have many friends who are struggling-

I pray we can all fall safely into Thee… and find comfort. That is my greatest prayer.
