Do you know that you are beautiful?
You were knitted together in your mother’s womb by His Almighty Hands.
His workmanship is wonderful. His love, unending.
You were made on purpose, for a purpose.
Each delicate thread so carefully created and woven together within you~
Is a miraculous masterpiece.
All of who you are…
Even the hard parts, the soft parts, the broken parts, the weak parts~
Every talent, every gift, every trait~
God designed especially…
Do you know that?
Every piece and part of who you are.
Your smile is like no other.
Your laughter, your eyes, your presence.
Your thoughts. Your dreams. Your fears.
All uniquely yours.
Your pain. Your story. Your battle. Your strength.
Your tears. Your scars. Your soul.
In the quiet moments when you weep.
In the silent night when you are alone.
Wondering. Wishing. Wavering.
He sees you.
Your ways. Your secrets. Your doubts.
All your thoughts are precious to Him.
He knows you.
He made you.
Every day has been ordained by Him.
He sets your path.
He knows your plan.
You matter most to Him.
You have His power.
You hold His light.
You are His beloved gift to the world.
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful you.
Reach in deep.
Embrace who you are.
The God of Creation
His Workmanship is wonderful.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

I just adore the phrase “knitted together.” Such a beautiful reminder of HIs handiwork in our own journey of creation.
I do too, Sarah!! Knitted together reminds me that each and every thread of who we are was carefully sewn into us by our loving Creator. WOW.

I always know I’ll find the perfect encouragement here, Chris. As I’ve been aging rather quickly these past few years in my face and body, I’m needing a new definition of beautiful. Thank you so much for this reminder of what that word really means! You and your words are so appreciated, my friend!

Jackie @ The Courage In Me says
Your posts always evoke such emotion in me. This is just what I needed to hear. For so long, I pulled away from God. I never stopped believing but I became cynical and distant from Him. It’s been only in the last uear that I have been finding my way back, little by little. This is such an important reminder. It’s been only in the last couple of months that I started remembering that I am a child of God; that He made me. Thanks for this soulful, blessed dose of nurturing, Chris.
Oh sweet friend… I am SO glad this nourished you! Consider it a love note from God to your heart. I am praying for you to find many of them as you lean in closer to Him. <3
So beautiful and for some reason, this reminded me of a book my son and I recently read. He liked it so much that he asked me to read it. It’s about a girl with Cerebral Palsy who can’t walk or talk, but who’s really smart. She struggles with some bullying and feeling worthy and beautiful. It’s called, “out of my mind.” The message at the end of the book is exactly what your words today said.
Oh wow, Emily! I need to go look that book up! Thank you for telling me about it. It sounds incredibly powerful. <3
So incredibly beautiful – I now say…I AM love…because he is within me!
I love that Kristen! Yes. <3
