Beauty Blooms in Hard Places

August 6, 2014 By momcafe 32 Comments

Beauty Blooms in Hard Places

Beauty blooms in hard places…
Life’s messes
Create barricades that can suffocate the hope
Right out of us.
If we let it.

Stuck.
We can’t seem to find any color in the depths of grey.
But.
If we search long enough
And open our eyes to see…
It’s there waiting in all its glory.

Re-trace back through your path
Of your life’s journey
Through the hard places…

Dig deep through the rocks.
Do you see it?
In all its splendor?

Beauty blooms in new found:

Strength
Wisdom
Grace
Faith
Healing
Love
Growth
Transformation

Reflect and reclaim its goodness.
Embrace the color that it carries.
There is and will always be beauty blooming
In the hard places.

You just have to look for it.

I think it’s so empowering and encouraging to realize God’s Promise that He will provide. I am always challenging myself to take those faithful steps in actively looking for His Purpose in the storms! I think when we open our hearts to see it- the beauty is there in all it’s glory. 🙂 It may not look pretty at the time… but God’s Hands will sculpt it to bloom in time.

I agree, and even now during a not great time, I can see it. So that’s a start.
I always say I have more tools than I had years ago when I’d get anxious. Now I have blogging. And a business. And two kids. And pets. And you guys.

Oh thank you so much Nannette! There is so much promise in every fall. I always tell people to look back and find hope in His Record… Reflecting on the beauty that bloomed in past circumstances, this always gives me strength to endure another challenge. There is purpose in everything.

Beautiful & so true! Character is formed in those hard places, though it’s so difficult to appreciate when in the middle of it.

I hear ya Joey… when we are in the trenches of despair, it’s too grey to find any color. But I am working tirelessly on intentionally taking faithful steps to dig through in the muck to find it. There’s so much hope and strength in that very act especially when we are ‘in it’.

Hmm, yes…very true. So very difficult to see all of that in the throes of those challenges, in front of those barricades…I know this all too well right now. But this is one more good thing for me to read this week. I can’t believe how many posts I’ve read in the last few days that were EXACTLY what I need to see/hear right now. Tough week. XO
