Pretty amazing, isn’t it? This is what friends do when they know you have fulfilled a dream on a hope and a prayer…
They show up, surprise you, and slather you with support. I’m so blessed to have many beautiful friends showing up, surprising me, and slathering me with support.
I pretty much think about and pray about my book every day. I have enduring hope and faith that it will get into the hands of the women who need it most- and I depend on my friends to help me in this mission. I’m so grateful to not be alone in this effort.
I’ve recently been slathered with more support from three incredible friends who are talented writers and beautiful people. They have all read my book and my eyes still well up when I think of each and every one of their responses after reading it. Their opinion means everything to me, because I not only value their voice, I value their life experiences and their perspective. These three women are an inspiration to me in many ways, and if you go over to their site and take a look around, you will soon see why. Each of them are very different and gifted in their own unique way. Each one of them, I call a trusted friend.
First is my dear friend Lola, from Liv By Surprise. She is such a supportive and encouraging friend to SO many on the web, and she has had quite the experience in recovering from several injuries and surgeries too. I was anxious to know what she thought of my book with the wealth of knowledge and insight she holds surrounding healing and help and hope. I’m so glad she found it to be a worthy read! You can read her take on the book and my answers to the questions she asked in her interview on her blog HERE.
Secondly, I was FLOORED by this beautiful review of my book by someone I SO admire and love- Crystal, from The Qwiet Muse. Crystal has a wealth of experience in chronic illness and injuries from an auto accident. She has been a faithful friend for some time and her fortitude and faith continue to inspire me. I’m still so deeply touched by her gorgeous words about my book and how it spoke to her. Her response has given me such affirmation that my book can be a source of comfort and encouragement for all. You can read her review HERE.
Lastly, my precious friend Marie from France has been a bright light in my online world and I adore her heart and love for everyone. She too, read my book and responded with such a beautiful review over on Amazon. It meant the world to me that she was inspired by my book in many ways, despite not having any experience in recovery! I’m thrilled that my book can be appreciated by any woman, whether they are healing or not. I’ve had a few other friends respond the same way, and this makes me so incredibly happy. I answered her questions in an interview over on her beautiful blog, Mahshi and Marshmallow. You can read it HERE.
If you haven’t checked out the reviews over on Amazon, you can go to the link HERE. And if you have read my book, please leave a review! It’s so very helpful when authors receive reviews!

Hi Chris! You have such wonderful blog-friends, and I know why. Because you are one yourself.
I think our stories should be shared, and you have a wealth of wisdom about hope in healing. I hope your book continues to sell, encouraging and supporting all who struggle with overwhelming health issues, and with smaller issues too.
I have always admired the way you write, and I can’t think of anyone who was destined to write a book more than you. You go girl!!
OH Ceil, thank you so much for your encouraging words and support of my book! It means so very much to me, my friend. <3

I’m in cray-cray land these days with work and Tucker’s school and well, you know. <3 I can't wait to finally read and share your amazing words. I hope you know I love you even though I sortof suck.
You DON’T sort of suck, silly! This is LIFE, right? I just miss you. I think about you SO often, you know that? Someday… we’ll be sitting on one of our pack patios together. I just KNOW it will happen. <3
So happy that your friends are supporting you in this important book journey you’re on, especially the ones who are in need of it right now. It’s an evergreen topic–your book will always be a gift. Keep going. Your book deserves to be sung about from the mountain tops.
Your support means everything to me, Julie. EVERYTHING. <3
