The Writer’s Breath

March 7, 2014 By momcafe 8 Comments

Today I am honored to share a piece of my heart and a part of my soul, over at Shell’s place- Things I Can’t Say.  I have known Shell for some time, and she is a force to reckoned with in this grand blogosphere!  I adore her series and link up that captures the hearts of many and pours them out into a community of beautiful supportive bloggers- Pour Your Heart Out has a mission worth following.  Shell always writes with authenticity about life as a mother, woman and friend.  I love that she is real and honest and true-and she has created a trusting space for all to come.  If you haven’t met shell, you are missing out on something good.

The story I share, reflects the powerful recurring waves of a writer.

“Something happens. There’s magic in that moment. It hits. Awakens a part of you that goes beyond your moving, doing, living and scuffling around in this world. You recognize it well. It’s magnitude takes over. It awakens a distinguishable gasp of breath that you wrestle to hold in… until you are able to let it out.”

It is quite profound, what happens when I catch that breath.  If you are a writer, author or blogger- you may experience the same.

I would LOVE for you to share your thoughts.  Do you breathe The Writer’s Breath?
