Since I published my book, I have had gorgeous book reviews written from many readers and dear friends. I am grateful for every single one of them, because the more reviews a book gets, the more exposure and support it will receive from Amazon as well as consumers who read those reviews!
Today I wanted to share with you three precious friends who have so generously supported my book. I am incredibly thankful for their help and the time and effort they gave to share my book with their readers on their blogs. I truly believe in this book’s value- because I am confident it will offer the guidance and encouragement any woman needs, as they journey through their recovery while healing.
If you have read the book, I would SO appreciate you writing a review on Amazon! I have had some beloved friends offer their time to read and write a review, and each one of those reviews is so very important to me! If you would like to have a preview copy of my book, in order to write a review on Amazon, just leave a note in my comments and I would be glad to get it to you!
The first amazing woman who took the time to interview me on her blog, is Christine Trevino. If you recall, I shared her beautiful book last year (go HERE to read about it), and I’m reminded of its significance as we head into the holiday season. If you haven’t read it, you simply must check it out. I LOVED it, and plan on re-reading it again this year with my kids. You can find her interview with me over on her site HERE. Her words describing me and my book just make my heart SWELL. I am so grateful for her support and our ongoing friendship.
“Her kindness and compassion is undeniably evident throughout the pages of her new book, standing in the gap with those who suffer physically. She is the friend you need – with hand and heart extended – ready to walk with you on your journey toward health. It is my great honor to share her book with you, along with an incredible interview on some of her writing insight.”
If you want to learn more about my writing and publishing experience, I think you will enjoy reading her interview addressing these topics!
The second amazing woman who took the time to read and review my book on her site is Kathy Barbini, from one of my favorite blogs- Holy Vacation Queen. I have mentioned her before (HERE), because I love love LOVE her writing, her heart, her wisdom and her incredible friendship. Her words always hit my heart hard, and her messages always inspires my faith. She is a brilliant writer with a passion for God and sharing messages of encouraging truth. Her post describing my book is one example of her ability to open our perspective with exceptional detail and biblical truth. Her description of me and my book made me cry. It’s just that beautiful.
“Chris is like an Olympic coach for women healing, while Help and Hope While Your Healing offers hope, compassion, and practical, enthusiastic guidance. Like a cheerleader on the sidelines of dreary, fearful days, her compassionate, empathetic writing voice offers a purposeful plan in navigating emotional and mental anguish, physical pain and limitations, while gently teaching the practice of self-love, patience and receiving help during healing. For mothers and those with responsibilities to others, those superwomen who suddenly find themselves bedridden, Help and Hope While Healing offers practical advice for letting go of work and family duties, identifying helpers, and check lists and charts for organizing and delegating responsibilities.”
Go read the rest of her gorgeous words HERE.
The third amazing woman who so generously supported my book, is my new working- on-being-my-best-friend, Jami Amerine. If any of you are on FB or twitter, you are well aware of my adoration for her. I read and share almost everything of hers, any chance I get. I LUV her. She makes me laugh out LOUD, think deeply, and feel passionately about my own salvation and that of others. She is so incredibly gifted in her unique approach to writing and sharing the gospel and the message of salvation through her undeniable wisdom, humor, and even her (snort) snark. Her blog is my favorite name EVER- “Sacred Ground Sticky Floors.” And her motto? “May your floors be sticky and your calling ordained.” Whoa… did that get you in the gut too? Every time I read it, I’m lifted.
I’m a fan, did ya know?
I think she is hilarious and brilliant and her heart is reflected in everything she does. I am SO BLESSED we have become fast friends, and my love grows for her the more I get to know her. If you haven’t read any of her posts, you simply MUST. She’s pretty crazy popular with millions of people reading them, and she shared my blog and book with her readers in her recent post (HERE) reflecting a fantastic and spot on message- as always.
“Check out my friend Christine Carter’s book for help and hope while you are healing! Christine is wise and beautiful. Such an enjoyable soul with a delightful gift for words and insight! You can also follow Christine on Facebook or her popular blog siteTheMomCafe.com “
Bless her.
I will continue to work on getting my book out there so women who experience any injury, surgery or illness can have this much needed resource while they’re healing.
If you haven’t yet checked it out, you can go HERE to see it on Amazon.
If you know someone experiencing a season of healing from any injury, surgery, or illness, this book would be a thoughtful gift.
If you don’t know anyone at the moment, buy it now to keep on hand to offer your friend, family member, or co-worker who ends up facing a season of recovery. You’ll be glad you have it at the ready to give!
