Have you been in my head again?! I’m writing a piece about this very topic (Worlds Collide, a la George from Seinfeld) for the Epistolarians! I may have misspelled that, it’s cool. It’s early.
That is so funny Stephanie!! Great minds think alike. You need to send me the link to it!! 😉 I replied to your awesome comment over at Ilene’s… I absolutely get what you said. It’s such a relief that I’m not the only one!! You rock for stopping by both!! I am slowly starting to adore you. 🙂
I already read the post and commented! I can so relate to it.
Thanks Jennifer!!! I totally wanna have weekly coffee dates and I figure one of us should move if this plan can work. Lets talk details later! 😉
Ha! Maine is a beautiful state to live in. 🙂
And Columbus, Ohio is rather uh… hmm… I got nothing. Looks like we’re moving to Maine. I’ll let my hubs know. 😉
Yes!
I commented there, but I will comment here: Beautifully written, and straight from the heart – yours and mine. Ilene so eloquently described what it is we, your readers (and friends) love about you, too. Real life or blog world, you mean a lot to us.
AW!!! I think I will re-read your words a few more times. Yep. Taking them in. Eli. You are simply one of a kind in both worlds. No one quite like you. 🙂 I’m so grateful to know you. So grateful.
Great post idea, Chris! Can’t wait to read it …
I loved your comment over there Mary!!! I wanna go back and memorize that beautiful line about it being a growing process as everything is. BUT you said it so much better!! We’ll learn and grow and heal together okay? You are simply the best. Your encouragement means the WORLD to me. XO
Dear Chris, you are who you are and who you are is a woman who deeply loves everyone in your life ~ whether from the blog world or the tangible world. I can’t speak for everyone but as for me, I would be missing the you that you are if you didn’t blog. We always have so much to talk about and catch up on when we’re together and I get to hear what’s deep in your heart and on your mind when you blog : ) I kind of see it as an extension of our time together…y’know, the stuff we ran out of time to talk about! You always worry so about everyone you love and if you’re giving them enough. That, my friend, is more telling about how you love us than anything else. Dance with the you that you are ’cause we all love the show!
This is SO going in a frame, right by the poop poem. SO gonna frame it. So. Gonna. Frame. These. Words. Gonna go to Kinkos and enlarge them to cover my entire ceiling in my bedroom. Wait. That’s kinda weird. Wall in my bathroom. Yeah. No wait. Mirror. YES MIRROR!!!! I am SO gonna enlarge your words and laminate them instead of put them in a frame, for splashing’s sake…then I’m gonna seal it on my mirror. Yep. Gonna do that. With permanent sealer, not the kind that will start to melt in the steam of a shower. Waterproof-like sealer.
If my hair and make up look really bad, but I’m glowing anyway… you’ll know why. 🙂 (Best comment EVER EVER EVER EVER)
Maybe you can just at least fit this part on your mirror in waterproof like sealer….’dance with the you that you are ’cause we all love the show’
can’t sum it up better than that….
I pray for you to find the right balance for your soul…a contentment, a peace in each short day with what world and with whom you decide to prioritize your time…..such a challenging thing for all of us women to figure out with each season of life…
Thanks so much sis!!! I know- is that the BEST freaking sentence ever or what???? Wow. I am soooo gonna straddle her and hug her til she passes out tomorrow in women’s group!!!
Everyone struggles with balance of whatever kind- this is my juggling venue right now. You are so right- all women need to find that balance in whatever season they are in.
Oh, definitely! Most of the people I associate in “real life” don’t know a thing about my “blog life.” Off to read!
I read your comment over at Ilene’s place- Isn’t it amazing that some of our closest friends have no idea about our blog life? I am just so glad you have such a strong and vital friendship circle in the cyber world, Christina!! (Ahh… I love saying your name!!! Hope it’s okay!!??)
On my way to read it, but I can already tell from your description that I can TOTALLY relate!!!
OH Alexa- I am SURE you would be able to relate!!! I will hop over now and see what you thought!! You’re a dear for stopping by! So grateful.
You keep going and going and going… 🙂
Visited and loved, loved, loved that post Chris! It’s definitely something we ALL have felt at some time! Thanks so much for sharing it!
AW!!! I am SO glad you stopped by to share that Michell!! It’s such a relief to know others experience the same thing!! 🙂
Sweet post. There just aren’t enough hours in the day!
Yes Andrea! Not enough hours… and we must balance our priorities within those bounds. It’s so so hard to do!!!
