So it looks like I have been TAGGED in this fun blogging game I believe started with Elaine over at Miss Elaineous Life and Jennifer over at Jennifer P Williams. I am SO excited to play!! I was secretly hoping someone out there would let me in… as I whispered in a tiny squeal, “Pick ME! Pick ME!”

C. Cake or Pie? Oh friends, I have been known to eat an entire cake at one sitting. Ask anyone who knows me in real life… yup.
D. Day Of Choice? That’s a hard one. Each day is different every week… so I will say Sundays. They are usually busy at church and that is my home away from home!
E. Essential item? My carmex. Oh yes… dry lips = nightmare. I have been addicted to the stuff for years. Not. Good.
F. Favorite Color? BLUE.
G. Gummy Bears or Worms? Can I say “Gelly beans”? They trump any sugary goodness. Always stash them in my purse and in my car. Love them that much…
H. Hometown? A cute little town next to Chicago in the North Suburbs. I miss my runs to the beach…
I. Favorite Indulgence? Although I love me some cake, the goodness that is even sweeter are Reese’s peanut butter cups. Chocolate+Peanut Butter= Heaven.
J. January or July? July July July… fireworks? Popsicles? Sun? Parades? Friends? Swimming pool? Drinks on the patio? Need I say more?

I am baffled at some of the things that come out of my mouth or SO MANY of my actions! I am just so embarrassed that I can be such a foolish goofball! I always joke that the day God made me, he got distracted and forgot the “edit button” in my brain. And for almost 46 years now, He’s been shaking his head going, “Oh dear… WHAT have I DONE??” lol

Blue is beautiful, isn’t it? I swear I can’t keep that wedding year in my noggin’!! But then again, I’m so scattered most of the time- I can hardly keep much in there anyway… 😉 Need to S L O W D O W N.
Loved reading more about you!! I am terrible with dates too. Once my mother in law asked me what I was getting my husband for his birthday. I said something to the effect of “not sure, I still have another couple weeks”…turns out that I had his birthday wrong! It’s been a running joke around here for years. I cannot get dates right! And your worst habit that you are comfortable telling is one of mine too…just look at what time I am reading your blog. I am horrible at going to bed.
When else would we be able to keep up with our blogging friends, than in the wee hours of the night… right??? Never. Enough. Time.

I stay up late every night too and sometimes I stay up too late with you! Oh, and I could gain ANOTHER 10 pounds on Reese’s cups alone. I love that you tagged me. My old school post is forthcoming.

I didn’t know you grew up in Chicago! I grew up a few hours south from there, but we went up there to visit family, I believe it was in Northbrook. Does that sound right?
My birthday is in July, so I completely agree with the July statement.
I don’t know how you chose between cake or pie. I probably would have chosen cake too, but that’s a tough call.
I also prefer take out food and I’m glad you chose summer as your favorite season. It’s the right answer. 🙂
Northbrook is just a few small towns farther North! I have spent many a days wandering around those parts! Happy Birthday early!- just in case I forget.
I could easily eat an entire pie too. I have! Great. Now I’m totally in the mood for pie, and all I got are Reese’s bars. I picked cake because I like just about every kind of cake, and I can be a little picky on the pies. I only like Cherry, Apple, and Lemon Marange… oh and chocolate of course! Then there’s blueberry and blackberry. Aw man! I think I like more than I thought! 😉
3 sisters – wow! Lucky you! I have one, and until we were adults we weren’t very close. Now I think I talk to her more than anyone else! 🙂

I loved reading your A,B,C’s! See, these are the things that girlfriends talk about after all the important stuff. The nitty gritty stuff is the stuff you discuss late in the night over drinks. This made me feel like we just did that.
And how I wish wish wish we could do this in real LIFE- over drinks… and perhaps a nice big plate of greasy fries… til late in the night… giggling….crying….hugging… more drinking… more fries… 😉 (Apparently I am in the mood for fries…and drinks!)
