A Book for Christian Teens and Their Phones

March 11, 2019 By momcafe 6 Comments

A book for our Christian teens and their phones.

It’s hard being a Christian teen. They are surrounded by so many different voices and choices out in the world today, and remaining faithful can be quite challenging. Christian teens are faced with the pressure to fit in and be accepted as they try to stick to the Christian values they have been taught. Oftentimes, this may feel isolating and confusing, overwhelming and difficult.

Our Christian teens are in a precarious place where they are still in the process of establishing a strong foundation in their faith and learning what it means to follow Jesus. In the digital world, we have an entirely new element to their lives that needs attention because the online world can be full of opportunities to put their faith into practice or be tempted to stray.

How do we teach our teens how to navigate the online world as a Christian? How do we help them apply their Christian values to what they do and see on their screens?

Our Christian teens need a resource that can help them understand the basic principles of their faith and learn how to apply them every time they are online. We need to ensure that the groundwork of their faith is strong enough to truly Follow Jesus every time their fingers touch those screens.

Do our Christian teens know what it means to Follow Jesus when they engage on social media or surf the web for information or entertainment? My guess is that most do not.

It’s critical for our teens to learn how to manage their screen time with diligence and wisdom, grounded in the essential biblical truths of the Christian faith.

I want to teach your Christian teen how to follow Jesus in the online world.

The internet is filled with opportunities that will test our Christian teen’s faith and challenge them to demonstrate what it means to truly Follow Jesus.
